happiness etc.

Yes, you can.

No matter what you do, what you say, or who you become, there will always be someone who doesn’t approve.
Someone who won’t reciprocate your friendship.
Someone who will judge and criticize you.
Someone who will try to bring you down.
In these moments, it’s hard not to personalize people’s actions.
You feel inadequate and insecure.
You assume that there must be something wrong with who you are.
Because otherwise, you would be treated differently.
The truth however, is that there is absolutely nothing wrong with you.
One person’s negative opinion does not have the power to discount all the wonderful things about you.
Their disapproval does not overshadow all the people who love you for exactly the person you are.

Let go of the people who can’t recognize your worth.

And start holding onto the people who can.
Don’t ever compromise who you are or what you believe in because someone disapproves.

Not only does it wound your soul, but it attracts people who will like you for someone you aren’t.
When you choose to be authentic, the right people will find their way into your life.
These are the people who give you the freedom to be exactly who you are with holding back.

The people who give you the room to be imperfect and make mistakes.
They encourage you to grow and follow your heart.
They accept you wholeheartedly.
And they love you unconditionally.
These are the people who matter.
Forget the rest.
